The Men Who Stare at Goats -pt.1

Before the George Clooney movie there was a book and a tv documentary. They all e chronicle a journalist who explores the deep, dark and highly top secret world of the US military’s “Psych Ops” division. This is where the army tried its hand at telekinesis, mind control, particle displacement, aka walking through walls, and tried to kill goats by staring at them. Amazingly (or not) millions were poured into these programs, which were led by, well “kooks” is kind of a nice way of saying it. Anyway, here is the first part of author Jon Ronson’s documentary titled Crazy Rulers of The World: The Men Who Stare at Goats.

The moving video collage, comprised of hundreds of digitally manipulated pieces of found and original film images, changes as you go up or down, depicting either an ascent up to heaven or a descent in to hell.
